How we work
- The deliverable is the working thing.
- Not a readiness assessment, not a slide deck about what could be built. You watch it run against your own data before it counts as finished.
- Scope and estimate go in writing first.
- If the estimate is going to move, you hear it while there is still a decision to make, not afterward on an invoice.
- The code is yours.
- It lives in your repository, on your stack, in your accounts. If we stop working together, nothing stops working.
- A person approves what gets published.
- Software drafts and schedules. People decide what actually goes out. That is a hard rule in what we build, not a setting somebody can switch off later.
- We start with one workflow.
- The smallest useful piece goes in front of real customers first. If it does not earn the second piece, we will tell you that.
Who runs it
BuildCamp is Alex Metzger, working in business operations and general management. The person on your first call is the person who runs the sessions, builds the workflow, and sits with your team afterward. There is no bench behind him and no account manager in front of him.
Based outside Boston, working with clients anywhere. If what you need is an enterprise rollout across a few thousand seats, we are the wrong shop and will say so on the first call.
